It operates under the legal entity: FNE Pty Ltd as trustee for FNE Enterprises, which holds the IP and the registered trademark for MapRun®. The ABN (Australian Business Number) for FNE Enterprises is: 16 169 645 217.
The initial App development was made possible by a grant from the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF).
The ASF Giving4Grassroots™ (G4G™) fund is a national small grants program that funds initiatives and programs aimed at increasing participation in grassroots and community sport throughout Australia.
Further funding has been provided from Orienteering Victoria and the Australian Sports Commission via grants to Orienteering Australia.
