Publicising an Event

For Events that are a "Permanent" event or events that are open for an extended period, it is useful to provide participants with information so that they can be self-sufficient in participating in the event.

In such cases, it may be appropriate to have a webpage on the Club's website with information such as:
  • The location of the event
  • The specific location of the Start/Finish
  • The type of event - Line/Score/Scatter
  • The folder in MapRun to download the event from
  • The ability to download and print a PDF version of the Map/Course.

Examples of this approach are:
- MapRun Parks Queensland, and
- MapRun Gloucestershire
